Forced to use donkey and mule drawn carts
Transportation Crisis in Eritrean Cities
Citizens recently arriving from Eritrea have reported that the transportation crisis in Eritrean cities, which continues under the pretext of fuel shortages, is going from bad to worse.
It has been revealed that the buses that used to travel between cities are now parked and abandoned due to the lack of fuel, left exposed to the sun and wind.
The public, deprived of any transportation facilities to help them carry out their daily activities, is being forced to use donkey and mule-drawn carts (carriages).
Even Asmara, a city said to be home to over one million people, has become a city where not a single car is seen due to the absolute lack of fuel.
